SECONDARY & SENIOR SECONDARY:- The Open Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (OBSEM) conducts Secondary and Senior Secondary School examinations in a structured and transparent manner. Examinations are organized twice a year, with provisions for On-Demand Examinations at approved centres subject to eligibility norms and minimum enrolment requirements.

OBSEM follows nationally aligned academic standards to strengthen open and distance learning systems. The Board’s programmes are designed to support school dropouts, working professionals, and learners seeking flexible pathways to complete their secondary-level education while receiving recognized certification.

Senior Secondary Course (Equivalent to Class XII)

This course is meant for learners who have successfully passed the Secondary (Class X) or equivalent examination from a recognized board and wish to continue their studies at the Senior Secondary level (Class XII equivalent). Students may select subjects from the prescribed Scheme of Studies. For certification, a minimum of five subjects must be completed successfully, including at least two language subjects and not more than three languages, in accordance with Board regulations.
