PROFILE:- Open Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (OBSEM) has been established with the objective of providing flexible and accessible education to learners who are unable to pursue regular schooling. The board focuses on delivering quality academic programs through structured learning systems, learner-friendly methodologies, and modern educational practices.

OBSEM strives to make secondary and senior secondary education more inclusive by offering independent curricula and examination systems that empower students, working professionals, and learners from diverse backgrounds across India and abroad to continue their academic journey without barriers.

Our approach emphasizes well-planned instructional delivery, digital learning platforms, and student-centric support mechanisms that allow learners to balance education with personal and professional responsibilities. Through online resources and guided study programs, OBSEM ensures continuity of learning irrespective of geographical limitations.

Learners can choose subjects from the prescribed scheme of studies. For certification, students are required to successfully complete a minimum of five subjects, including at least one language subject, ensuring balanced academic development and nationally relevant qualifications.
